Fresh Strawberry Cake

The recipe


Cake:
1 box white cake mix
1 small box strawberry Jello
4 eggs
3/4 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup water
3 TBS all-purpose flour
1/2 cup fresh strawberries, chopped

Icing:
1 box (16 oz) powdered (confectioners) sugar
1/2 cup strawberries, chopped
1 stick butter, softened

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 9x13 inch cake pan. In a large bowl, mix all ingredients for cake and pour into prepared cake pan. Bake for 40-45 minutes and cool completely before icing the cake.

For icing, mix ingredients in a medium bowl until smooth and fluffy, do not over beat. Place cake on a platter and frost. Garnish with fresh strawberries. Cover and store in a cool place.
